Sudden political change affecting global mobility has been the flavour of the last 12 months. We have felt the effects in WA from the recent State Election right through to global ramifications of Brexit and the election of the Trump administration in the United States. These major political decisions, events and conditions have had a significant impact on how businesses approach mobilisation of talent. More than ever, global mobility teams play an increasingly important and strategic role in ensuring the right people can be in the right place at the right time.
In this session, our speakers will examine these geo-political issues as they affect the mobility of talent, with special attention to the recent immigration changes in Australia. This will be followed by a workshop session where we hear from the audience as to their own experiences and initiatives that have been implemented to better partner with the business in managing political risk.
