20 August 2014 - FEM Sydney Chapter Networking Meeting - "Trends and Challenges In Using Technology to Facilitate An Effective Global Mobility Program"

Hosted by Grant Thornton

In today’s society, technology pervades almost all aspects of our personal and professional lives. Mobile technology in particular has meant that it is possible for us to be ‘plugged in’ 24/7 and access all types of information at the touch of our fingers. Thus, technology should be an enabler for global mobility teams. Yet, various surveys in recent times have clearly identified that some of the greatest challenges for global mobility teams are effectively managing their overall global relocation programmes, controlling relocation/assignment costs and complying with different laws and regulations. Please join us as we discuss some of the latest trends and challenges in global mobility technology. Our Sydney Steering committee will facilitate a discussion regarding how technology is being used to assist in program design, implementation, tracking of costs, monitoring assignment progress and preparing budgets.
